Hooded Gaming Blanket

T=7 to 8, find the sweet spot for your yarn

I used 4 balls of Ice Yarn 67913 Winter sale yarn in dark teal as a Contrast colour. (2 ends)
Pick out any Aran or worsted yarn for the main colours. (I added an end of blue acrylic to the California 8 ply to bulk it up a but)

CO 100 onto waste yarn. (This edge will be grafted later)
Beginning on the left side, Knit 2 rows with CC. Park CC on left hook and put all sts into hold.
We will always park the CC yarn on the left side to halve the number of ends we need to weave in later.

Put carriage onto hold & move over to right side.

Alternate the CC & MC sections until you have 32 MC sections.

Knit only 1 row of CC then knit off onto waste yarn. (Your Kitchener seam will be the 4th row)

Collar:
Pick up 64 sts along the left edge (the short edge of CC only)
Using CC, Knit 16 rows of garter stitch using a garter bar. (If you don’t have one, then try using card 1 tuck stitch, or anything that will shorten the row height & stiffen the fabric)
Row 17 increase 12 sts evenly across the row. (Every 4th st)
Using MC, knit
