This is Dibbler and I'm the one asleep. This is because my cat has magical powers. All he needs to do is put 4 paws on you, and you go asleep... you cannot resist! - it's terrible!!!! Worst thing is, Dibbler loves to sit on people, and so I tend to be asleep a lot when he is around. I don’t think he minds though, he seems to enjoy sleeping on me just about as much as he enjoys sending me to sleep under him.
His full name is 'Bite-my-owner's-hand-off Dibbler' due to his desire of chewing on my fingers. He also likes chewing on plastic bags, particularly at night when people are trying to sleep.
He is responsible for The List, a constant source of amusement. The vet said that while this is unusual behaviour, as long as he doesn't eat onion (it's really bad for cats) it probably won't do him any harm beyond an upset tummy.
He loves to watch TV, he doesn't seem to have a favourite show so long as it's not too noisy, but he is more or less content to sit and watch whatever I'm watching.
Other favourite activities include screaming at moths and people that walk past our front window, chasing lizards, and putting rats under my flatmate's bed.
He will sit on the biggest cat-lover in the room, because a cat-hater isn't going to give him the love and attention that he wants. But he will choose to 'Joey' under a jumper above anything else.
At night, he sleeps under the covers with me.
