For me, that constant mid-level pain is harder to cope with than when it spikes to higher levels when I ‘do x’.
I love it when I find people who understand that and are willing to work with me.
I was there because my “good knee” went from a daily 2 to a daily 7, spiking up to 8 or 9.
It was stopping me sleeping properly.
I couldn’t walk any sort of distance 2 days in a row.
And it got that bad very quickly (over the course of about 10 days).
When I had my last knee op, my surgeon asked me my injury timeline with a 1-10 pain scale, then established a baseline by jabbing his pen into the bottom of my foot.
I have never been so conflicted. Felt so betrayed, but at the same time so justified that my knee pain was legit. https://t.co/aarb8lLgEp

My brain is going to be noodles.
One day in the future, Sim will be a senior & will be the reason ‘they’ put ‘that sign‘ on the hotel breakfast buffet toaster.
In the meantime, I’ll eat it like this: https://t.co/CL7BkC1Y7N
