I’m not doing day job for a couple of weeks, so I’ve picked up extra shifts at BigW… 6.30am! <wince>
Having a good weekend. Went out with Renai and Beth for drinkies after work on Friday night. Swung by the Allawah Hotel on the way home… last night went to a Fancy Dress Christmas party as Darth Maul… not many people recognized me, but I think I looked good anyways… J
Sister is staying with us for a few days, so that should be fun too…
So now I’m at home, watching trek, contemplating changing my hair style.

Fate hates me.
It has happened again.
I decide to move cities, and then I meet someone who I get along with really well.
Except that this time I’ve decided to go for it. SO yeah… single no longer.

Went to Canberra for the weekend… had a lot of fun.
Caught up with old friends, met some really cool people.
Didn’t get a lot of sleep done. But hey <shrug> you only live once…

Had a quiet weekend. Went out to dinner on Sun night.. Thai. That reminds me… Definition of a cheap joint is most mains abouts $7, most desserts under $3. Definition of a reasonable joint is most mains abouts $12, most desserts under $5. Definition of a nice joint is most mains abouts $18, most desserts under $7.
Baked cookies too… very nice.
cream ½ block of butter with ½ cup of flour. Mix in 2 dessertsp Golden Syrup, 1 cup SRFlour. Little blobs on a tray, squish them down, but leave more space… they spread out heaps more.
cook em in a medium oven for abouts 15 min. Mmmmm sugary goodness!!!

Monday I felt really sick, but Selwyn showed up with Liz, and we went down to Cronulla and had fish and chips by the ocean with the Hobbit.

Rest of the week was much the same…
Weekend was fun tho… much trek, xbox and bagging out of cricket.
Ive been sleeping on my futon since I got it back. It’s not as comfortable as I remember, but I’ve been feeling much more myself.
Been in the mood for cooking lately too… weird.
My new domain is getting places… but… I need your help!

Worked a lot last week, we were very short staffed. Was the only one in my dpt on Monday, and spent the rest of the week trying to make up for that…
One of the guys at work DJed at the Hotel Metropolis on Sat night, so I went along to watch…. And found myself in the middle of a Foam Party!! So much fun.
Sun I went shopping in the city, looking for leather gloves for my Lara Croft costume and had a ball walking around the city with Christian, Gavin and Liz.

Went to see the StarWars Exhibit at the Powerhouse Museum on Sun. Ohhh – go see, go see!!!!
I was blown away at the haphazard manner the props were knocked together. They used all kinds of junk… Much mirth.
Getting my futon back on Saturday. Yay! It’s been almost 10 months since I saw it last… So I’ll be able to set my room up properly

Tis the end of another busy week.
I’ve been thinking a lot about where my life is headed… and I’m surprised at how empty it seems. For the first time in my life I genuinely have no idea where I’m headed.
So… I’m putting out a call for suggestions. Drop us a line, lemme know what you think I should do.
In other news… I have been watching far too much children's television, I think it’s warping my brain…

I’m sick… My thyroids are nasty. Doc don’t know why, I don’t know why. Making me very tired.
I’m traveled… I have just got back from a road trip to Adelaide Hills. More details to follow.

I am bailing out of the virtual world for a little while.
I am sick of spending 2 hours everyday answering emails…
I am sick of my 'me' time being interrupted by my mobile phone.
So I'm getting out for a week or two.
There is so much that I need to get done, and it's not happening because I'm spending a lot of my home time glued to this screen.

Busy busy busy.
I have picked up nigh shift every day this week.
It's been fun. Busy, but fun.
I re-designed the CGS Website for them on the weekend.
There are still a few errors, but most of the content is up.
It's good to see information about CanCon up for everyone to see.
Bought a new CD today - by Good Charlotte. Ooh - it's like Blink trying to do Millencolin... I like. I like a lot! (They are the guys that did 'Little Things', the new album was released on Wed.)

Was very busy last week.
Between both my jobs, and various other social disasters, it was looking really scary for a while there.
Had fun at MOAB on the long weekend. It wasn't too bad being a roleplayer at a wargaming con, I met some really cool people.
Drove to Singleton and back on Friday night, it was good to get away from it all, even for a little while. I forgot how much I love travelling around.
CanCon booklets are available now… if you can't find any, lemme know where you think they should be, and I'll try to arrange something.

I had a good weekend.
Joined a Wargaming Group at UTS. Went and watched a couple of games on Sat arvo.
Did the family thing on Sunday… went well.
Due to the overwhelming death of all interest in the quotes competition, I've now declared it over. I now officially don’t care anymore either. :p

Another week closer to Christmas…
Had a good birthday. Went to Uni, and hung out with the old crowd. Got pissed, came home. Jumped on my PC, and totally screwed it. (Note to self… keep your drunken hands offa my poota!) - tis fixed again now… (Yay)

Back again. Big weekend. No sleep. Lots of catching up.
Much X-Box. I still don't seem to suck. I don’t really understand it, but it's so much fun!
Very Gigantic. I found a couple of fans at the party on Sat night, got a minidisk as a birthday present, and today I was given an MP3 of a song that I didn't know existed. - excitement plus!
No body has won the quotes competition… But we have a development… Iain has put it forward that the second quote is in fact from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or other Douglas Adams book. Tell me what you think?

OK. I've started working part time this week. It's much better.
I now work 9am to 1pm every day.
Sisters 21^st on Sat night. Was fun. I didn’t know many people, but everyone seemed to have a great time.
I bought a watch on a rope today. Best thing about it, is that it's a $4 watch, so I won't be too pissed when I lose/break it.

I'd like everyone to know that I'm not having a birthday this year.
Been chilling a lot.
I've regained my desire to cook. Yay! - Kitchens don't make me upset anymore!
I've been watching a lot of Trek: Next Gen, series 3.
Doing boxes and reels and other scenery stuff
Lots of spa time
Reading Diana Gabaldon - it's verra bad for making you sound like a doit. Doesna go down too weel with the folk who dona ken what ye on about.
Really should be tidying up, and I still gotta get round to unpacking one of these days too…

My supervisor at Big W is on leave… and so it looks like I get to do both our jobs…
So I had to unpack 4 pallets of toys today by myself.

I can't believe it's Sep already!
Went out with work people Fri night… Drank too much, danced too much, had a really great time.
Was in Parra last night for dinner. I have never seen such a police presence in my life… We started counting them, and gave up after we saw 60 police, 2 dogs and 6 horses in a window of an hour…
Talk about parranoia!

I'm having a bad week.
I'm finding that a lot of my memories are coming back since Pheno, and I'm feeling very ambivalent about that.
It's a good thing to remember the past, but on the other hand, I don't want to deal with this right now… I'm feeling very isolated at the moment because of that. And snappy, so if I snap at you, I apologise, because I prolly didn't mean it.
Work is good though, no where near as tiring as I thought it would be.

Had a great weekend!
Fri night went to a Birthday do for my Dad at his work.
Then went home and watched Kylie film clips while consuming fairly large amounts of alcohol.
I drank absinthe for the first (and realistically probably the last) time, and might I say… that is some foul tasting stuff!! Don't hate it nearly as much as cheap alcohol though… I'll give you that much.
Sat was great. Made friends with XBOX, and found out that I am not suckfull at 2 of the games. (granted, not good, not average, just not suckfull)
Sat night at Zone3 much fun. Much fragging, much nerf, much shennanigans.

My cat is sitting on my lap chewing on my fingers, hands and arms, whatever is in reach.
I have just got back from vegeing in the spa.
And I find myself sitting in front of the computer instead of changing out of my wet costume like a sensible person would in winter…
Sometimes I really miss Canberra, and the people I grew to know there. This was one of those days.
I found myself at home instead of working, and with no idea how to spend my night.
I realised that this is the first time I've worried about such things in a long time.

I just won my game of hunt down all the teaspoons, and my flatmate is now talking to me again.
Dyed my hair again - it's interesting.

Still feeling down after waking up in Sydney on Monday morning instead of Canberra.
Other than that, my week has been good.
I started my job at Big W. I got a shiny new name badge and everything!
I have a fully hektic schedule for the next couple of days, so if I’m not answering your email, I got a good excuse… OK… I'm not dissing you, I'm just busy.

Back in Sydney again after being at Pheno for the weekend.
Hektic! Hektic!
Left work early Fri night, made the mad dash down for rego, didn't make it, so went for goodberrys instead of playing a session.
Sat, bailed on first session, went to Belco to see Ceramics, and picked up some CLR for Ian's extremely unfriendly shower. Muppets ran after lunch. Quite well considering we only had 6 of the 14 players filled. Played a freeform Sat night. Was blown away at the standard of both the game and the roleplaying.
Sunday had Harry Potter - That was a lot of fun! We all hated Harry. Teehee! Spent lunchtime session sorting dice. Good therapy. Played Traveler last session. Brain died halfway through.
Prize giving was short and sweet. I made a short and well received speech about CanCon, and I also got a trophy for a game I didn't even play!

Went to my sister's birthday dinner at my Dad's place yesterday. Had a roast. Mmmm… Lamb Roast…
We finished writing our Muppets Freeform today. Should be a lot of fun!
Starting to get worried about Pheno, if I can't find a co-driver, and I still feel like this, I'm not going to be able to make the trip.
Does anyone know of a licenced (Ls OK) person in Syd who wants to scam a lift to Canberra on the weekend?

I slept in quite badly this morning, fatigue combined with a purry cat that was trying everything to get me to stay in bed.
I did almost nothing today.
A small amount of cleaning, and a lot of lazing, feels good though.
Played FRAG again. Kicked Ass again.

I can't believe that it's August already!
Where did the year go?
It seems like only last week that I was living in Watson, working at Prime, and thinking that I'd be working the snowfields right now.
I bought Lemmings Paintball for PC, and in true Lemmings tradition, it's taking a lot of my time away. I can hear it calling me now.

Yay I'm home. Minus 4 of my Wisdom teeth.
I didn't have the pre-med, because I'm allergic to it, and so I feel fine.
So very bored though. I dosed up on sleep over the weekend, in case I couldn't get any while I was in hospital, but I could. So I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep.
Wandered round the hospital a bit, talked to the nurses, watched TV, read my book…
I'm allergic to Codeine and Morphine, so they have me painkiller free, and I'm doing fine. Teeth are only slightly sorer than they usually are, and because the pressure is off my other teeth, my headache is gone for the first time in 3 years.
So, I feel fine, I'm at home I'm soooooo bored.
Wanna go back to work tomorrow.
Call me, visit me, ANYTHING!

It was good, contrary to everything I've heard.
Had a good weekend. Nice and quiet.
I've finally started to unpack.
I found a lot of roleplaying stuff that I thought got burnt. I am happy about that. I was still upset at having lost it.
Oh yeah - I know about the Muppet action figures people. I've seen them.

Gee working full time is doing wonders for my net time.
I put in a 11 hour day today, and I still am OK
I've gotta be back in the office at 8am tomorrow, but I'm going to try to get up at 6am to watch RobotWars.
I don't honestly know why… Is it because I miss Foxtel, or Red Dwarf, or am I an insane loser with an attraction to robots, that will make me miss my beloved sleep? - I don't know…
I'll give it some thought.
(I actually suspect it's because I think that Christian doesn't think that I will.)

Went to Scruffy Murpheys last night, tight arse Tuesday. Cockroach races. Free beer, Lots of laughter. I had a ball, it was a good night.

The place I have been working for as a casual have offered me a job in accounts full time.

I've been in Canberra for the weekend.
I attended the first coronation of a king in Lochac.
Yes, you are right… that doesn't make any sense, and trust me, I didn’t really understand much of it either.
What I did get was… good company, great food, lots of pretty costumes to look at, and a fair amount of chivalry and mindless violence.
