anzac bikkies


 

You grab...
110g butter
1 tablesp treacle/golden syrup
1 teasp bi carbonate soda
3 tablesp boiling water
... melt the butter, and mix in the rest...

get yourself one of them big bowls I've told you about earlier...
mix together...
1 cup flour
1 cup raw sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup decimated coconut.
... then pour the buttery mess in and combine them well.

grab your biscuit trays, complete with baking paper, and drop spoonfuls on there.
LEAVE LOTS OF ROOM!!! these things spread like bunnies. I mean it... if you don't want a great sheet of solid biscuity mass, leave AT LEAST 1 1/2 inches between them.

bake them in 180 degree oven 10-15 min, and as always, lesser for the gooey bikkie lovers, longer for the crunch-nuts.
Allow them to cool before lifting them offa the tray, and sit back, watch the march, and enjoy your ANZAC Day. :)
